What is Ombre Powder Brows? Ombre Powder Brows is a form of semi-permanent makeup. It is one of the most sought after brow procedure because it is suitable for all skin types including sensitive and oily skin. The result is a soft, powder-like effect on the brows that is natural looking and low-mainenance!

How Long Does Powder Brows Last? One of the many reasons our clients love powder brows is the long-lasting result! They typically last 1-3 years. Skin types, lifestyle and skin care products used all play a role in affecting the longevity of the result. Oily skin usually has a lower retention in comparison to someone with dry skin due to increased amount of oil production that pushes pigment out of the skin faster. We also advise our clients to use SPF daily to protect the colour from premature fading due to exposure to UV rays. Another tip is to avoid using harsh skincare products around the eyebrow area. For example, products containing AHA's helps to increase cell turnover in the skin which is great for a more brighter and even complexion, but it can also fade the eyebrow colour quicker.

Do Powder Brows Look Fake? With our advanced shading and layering techniques, we create powder brows that look very natural! Although brows can look bold immediately after the procedure, rest assured that they will soften up once they go through the healing process. Ombre Powder Brows is recommended for you if.. - You are looking for a waterproof and smudge-proof option - You are allergic or sensitive to makeup products - You have high/low brows, making it hard for you to shape them daily - You have uneven hair growth, where one side may have more hairs than the other - You have an active lifestyle and does not want your eyebrows to wash/wipe away during your activities - You have over-pucked eyebrows that never grew back - You have full eyebrows but don't know how to shape them

Who is NOT Suitable for Powder Brows? If the following contraindications apply to you, you are not a good candiate for this procedure. - Under the age of 18 years old - Diabetic or have thyroid disorder (that is not controlled by medication) - Have a major heart problem or has a pacemaker - On blood thinning medication on a regular basis - Have a blood-borne communicable disease such as HIV or Hepatitis - Currently pregnant or breastfeeding - Undergoing chemotherapy - Within 1 month, have had laser treatment on the procedure area - Within 3 months, have had facial surgery (eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty) - Have a severe skin condition such as: eczema, rashes, skin cancer or psoriasis - Prone to extreme scarring or keloid - Have an allergy or sensitivity to any metals, lidocaine, or topical numbing agents - Have low level of iron or anemic (and not controlled by medication) - Have uncrontrolled blood pressure - Have a weak immune system or sick with flu/cold/covid - On Accutane for the last 12 months

Does the Powder Brow Procedure Hurt? Fortunately for us, we use numbing agents before and during the procedure to minimize the discomfort. Many clients who have had this procedure done say the discomfort is very minor and tolerable. Pain is also very subjective and vary from person-to-person. Following our pre-care instructions should also help to minimize the discomfort! Please do note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

What is Brow Lamination? Brow Lamination is the hottest brow trend and it is suitable for almost everyone! It instantly lifts the brow hairs, adding more volume, symmetry and definition; giving you beautiful and fluffy brows! Results last 6-10 weeks depending on your natural hair growth cycle.
